Texting Policy

How we use SMS

Coda ("we," "us") sends SMS text messages only to people who have booked a call or meeting with us and, during that call, verbally agreed to receive a text reminder. All messages are transactional -- appointment confirmations, reminders, and direct follow-ups tied to a conversation you have already started with us. Every text is sent by Coda, from Coda's own phone numbers.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts, we do not send cold or unsolicited texts, and we do not text anyone who has not personally asked to hear from us. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Consent is collected verbally. When you book a call or meeting with a Coda representative, we ask you in that same conversation whether you'd like a text reminder, and we tell you the texts come from Coda, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. We only send a text after you have said yes on that call. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any text at any time to opt out of future messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also email corey@codaoutbound.com to be removed from our list.

Privacy

Information collected through SMS conversations, including your phone number and message content, is used solely to communicate with you and to improve how we follow up. We retain this information only as long as needed to serve that purpose and do not use it for anything beyond the conversation you've opted into.

Terms

By providing your phone number and engaging in a text conversation with us, you consent to receive SMS messages from Coda related to that conversation. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Carrier charges may apply; contact your carrier for details on your messaging plan.
